These are the ultimate! incredibly light and strong, the
"Ultras" are the clincher version of Hyperons. Included are ceramic
hub bearings, precision molded to 1 millionth of a
millimeter! Yes, you can very easily tell the difference; they are shockingly
smooth and roll nearly forever (4 times longer than steel bearings!). Also, the
Ultras use carbon rather than aluminum hubs for lighter weight and extra
strength. Plus, they just look sexy!
The
Hyperon carbon clincher rim withstands high pressure pumping, high braking
temperatures, and heavy duty road shock. The braking surface requires Campy's
special brake pads designed specifically for this carbon rim surface. These are
included with each Hyperon wheelset. Light alloy quick release skewers
are also included along with wheel bags.

New for 2007! After 8 seasons of
victories and infinite miles traveled, the Neutrons have been upgraded with
calibrated extrusions for the rims and a new generation hubset with carbon fiber
bodies and aluminum flanges. These wheels maintain the performance that has made
them famous: extremely fast acceleration with with great lateral rigidity and
superior shock absorption. But now, they are even lighter! This is a fabulous
wheelset for climbing as well as longer rides where comfort is at a premium.
Rear is 840 grams with 24 double butted aero spokes and front is 630 grams with
22 double butted aero spokes. Alloy nipples throughout. Color is black. Light
alloy quick release skewers are included along with wheel bags.

for climbing and acceleration as well as comfort. And, the built-in vertical I-beam on the rear wheel gives it
excellent durability for such a
light setup. Available in clincher (non-glue on) only. Light alloy quick release
skewers are included along with wheel bags. Fits Campagnolo 9 or 10 speed
cassettes, a
Shimano version is also available on special

Proton Clinchers ~

Similar to Neutrons, Campy's Proton wheels are ideal for
both demanding professional riders and ambitious enthusiasts, a winning
combination of excellent performance and affordable price. Front and non-drive
rear use conventional elbowed spokes for easy and inexpensive maintenance. Front is 22
spoke, 680 grams. Rear is 24 spoke rear, 960 grams. Rims and hubs are black.
Price is per pair, 700c. Quick release skewers are included.
Unfortunately, this wheelset will not be continued
in 2007, but we have some stock still available. These have been great wheels
for our riders; we will definitely miss them once they are gone.
