BiKyle Fitting Form ~

The following is the one-and-only OFFICIAL BiKyle Custom Fitting Form. When you place an order for a BiKyle frame or bicycle, you are encouraged to fill out the following information and submit it at the time of your order. The BiKyle staff will present both your order and fitting information to Kyle. He will personally calculate your perfect positioning and sizing before finalizing your frame size with you. He will also provide you with precise crank length, handlebar sizing, stem length, stem angle, and saddle positioning in all 3 planes to properly complete your new dream machine!

You can measure in inches or centimeters, but let us know which you are using:Inches: Centimeters:

Chest:    (just under the armpits, arms at side, breathing naturally)

Waist:    (thinnest part, breathing naturally)

Hips:   (widest part)

Shoe size:   (American dress shoe)

 

Inseam and Thigh Measurements:

Inseam:   (Do this in stocking feet shoulder width apart. Firmly snug in the crotch, almost to the bone, then down to the ground. )

Thigh: (As for inseam, but this time kneel down then measure to the floor)

 

Leg Measurement:

This is a very important measurement. View the above picture very carefully then have an assistant measure you several times on each leg until you are sure you have it correct.

Right leg - center of upper leg joint to ground:

Left leg - center of upper leg joint to ground:

 

Torso Measurements:

Feel around in your pelvic area until you find the very TOP of your pubic plate. Measure from that spot up to the top of your sternum, right where the soft tissue of your neck starts.

Torso 1 - sternum to top of pelvic plate:

 

This measure runs from the top of your sternum again. But this time it goes all the way down to your crotch, the top of your inseam. To make it easy, place a book or similar object up firmly into your inseam/crotch area. Measure from the top of that book up to the top of your sternum.

Torso2 - sternum to crotch:

 

 

Arms down to wrist:

The measuring spot at the top of your arm is right where the upper arm bone ends. If you raise your arm up the side you will feel a small gully created between your upper arm and your shoulder. Measure from the middle of that gully. On the wrist, find the spot where the wrist bone juts out to the side.

Arms including hand:

Once again, find that gully where your upper arm meets your shoulder. Measure from there down to the knuckle on your middle finger.

Width of Shoulders:

Find the two gullies where your upper arms meet your shoulders. Measure across your upper chest from gully to gully.

Shoulder width:     

Length of Forearm:

Bend 1 arm at the elbow then make a fist. Measure from the end of your elbow to the end of the knuckle on your middle finger.
