For 2008, Look has introduced their newest Super-Frame, the 586. Constructed by hand in true 1-piece Ultra-High Modulus carbon, Look has used their 20 years of carbon experience to create a feather-weight frame without compromise in overall rigidity or ride performance. The 586 weighs a mere 940 grams with uncut seat tube! A true monocoque frame, the rear dropouts are directly compressed into the frame when both the seat and chainstays are molded, resulting in a single-piece rear triangle. This provides a lighter and stiffer frame at the wheel transfer, where it counts most. A replaceable derailleur hanger means repairs are a snap. The patented new headset design allows for independent adjustment of the headset even when the stem is removed. And, it saves another 40 grams in weight because no compression plug is needed. The included seatpost uses elastomer blocks to dampen ride vibration while providing valuable aerodynamics. Three different sets of elastomers are included with each frame so you can customize your ride. Also includes a Look HSC-6 single-piece molded carbon fork that weighs a mere 340 grams yet still meets the New EN 14781 standard for impact strength.

Look 595 ~

Imagine a frame as light as the Look 585 yet with the incredible stiffness of a Look 486! Thoroughly tested tested in the 2006 and 2007 Tours de France, the Look 595 is just such a dream machine. Weighing a mere 1040 grams including the aero seatpost, the 595 is stiff enough for even the most aggressive pro. The 595 frame is 100% VHM (Very High Modulus) carbon fiber and incorporates carbon nano-technology to increase lug stiffness 27%. The frame and fork are all carbon with aluminum used only in the bearing races in the head tube and the threaded inserts in the bottom bracket. Even the rear dropouts are carbon!

Look 595 Ultra ~ 1040 grams with seatpost!

One of the beauties of a completely handmade carbon frame is the ability to fine tune it to every riders exact needs. The 595 Ultra takes the pro 595 (above) and adds a unique carbon tubeset layup that is 15% stiffer! This special frame offers that extra bit of stiffness that extra large or extra powerful riders desire but with a minimal sacrifice in comfort and no change in weight. Color is gloss black or black.white.

Look 585 ~ 990 grams!

Look's Formula 1 Super High Modulus VHM carbon fiber allows for fewer overall layers resulting in minimal weight while still building an immensely strong tubeset. Round profile on the outside, oval profile on the inside creates the ideal blend of stiffness and comfort.

	MOLDED LONG FIBER CARBON CONSTRUCTION HEAD LUG The externally flared head tube shaves weight while sharply increasing steering precision and stability. Internally, it houses a buttery smooth FSA integrated headset with patented Look replaceable bearing races.
	FORGED SHORT FIBER FORGED CARBON CONSTRUCTION BOTTOM BRACKET The proprietary new bottom bracket lug is the heart of the frame and sets the 585 apart from any other frame on the market. Laterally stout, this bottom bracket helps to make this featherweight frame light and efficient, making it that much easier to scale those alpine passes.

Frame weight is a mere 990 grams! (2.18 lbs), fork weight 310 grams! (.68 lbs), 1 1/8" threadless steerer, Eng 68mm bottom bracket required, fits 27.2 seatpost and 31.8 clamp-on front derailleur. Color is black.white, as pictured.

Look 585 Ultra ~

The 585 Ultra takes the pro 585 (above) and adds a unique carbon tubeset layup that is 15% stiffer! Look 585 Optimum ~

Built for all-day comfort!

The 585 Optimum has all the characteristics of the 585 above, but with a special geometry to achieve an even more comfortable ride! The top tube has been slightly shortened (1.5cm) and the head tube has been heightened by 1.6cm. The result is a more upright riding position that is slightly less aero but perfectly suited for longer, more comfy rides or for those who just prefer a more up\right position. Available in 3 colors: all black with white and red decals, black with light gray front end, or the "Elle" which is black with white and light blue decals.
