The
brand new 525 is the culmination of 5 years of research and
testing. The result is the world's finest cross country bike. Built around
Merlin's bombproof yet superlight MTS titanium front triangle and matched to the
finest 4-bar linkage rear suspension,
the 5.25 provides the ultimate ride. The Fox RP23 shock provides up to 100% pedal power efficiency by
aligning the instant center of the linkage of the chain torque line and
continually tracks it throughout the range of travel. Merlin uses 12mm pivot
axles and oversized bearings for superior pivot stability and lateral stiffness
under power. The titanium front triangle is
designed to optimize the ride quality and handling on any trail. The uniquely
shaped down tube adds strength, durability, and fork clearance for those who
enjoy the way down as much as the way up. The 5.25 delivers exceptional
performance for all day adventure in the mountains.
