10" Compression members ~
A compression member consists of two disks and a piece of plastic pipe. They
are used to keep pressure against the outside face of the case from damaging the
bicycle. The plastic disks hold them in place, but they are free to slide
sideways in the case to avoid added pressure against the bike if it shifts in
the case. We don't recommend
compression members with backback cases as they can
twist and create damage. Price is per member and 4 are recommended per hard case.

Threaded stainless steel and titanium fasteners have a tendency to gall when
they rub against one another so they can't be tightened or loosened. This is the
only lubricant that passed S and S's tough testing and prevented galling under
even the most difficult conditions. 100% Dupont Teflon, 16 grams with syringe

Single ended -
Fits couplers of 1" to 1 3/8" (nearly all road bikes
and more traditional mountain bikes) and has a 15mm pedal wrench on the other end.

Tube covers are used to prevent frame tubes and components from
getting scratched when a bicycle is packed. They are made from heavy duty nylon fabric laminated to foam and have
Velcro closure strips sewn along the entire 10 ft.
length. The 5.5" covers tubes up to 32mm and the 7.5" covers up to
44.4 mm. A typical road bike usually does well with 1 of the 5.5" and 1 of
the 7.5".
