Torelli Classic Lugged cromoly frames ~

Custom options on paint, decals, chrome, forks, and headsets are below

Torelli Spettro Spirit ~

3.7 pounds (56cm frame, center-to-center)

The Torelli Nitro Express is one of the most popular cromoly frames available. And for good reason! It's light, supple, strong, and extremely comfortable. And now, for riders that prefer truly classic Italian craftsmanship, the Nitro is offered in a fully lugged version! The investment cast lugs are intricately sculpted and completely hand brazed by master craftsmen, in Italy of course. Tubing is heat treated Columbus Niobium* Spirit cromoly throughout. Niobium gives a nimble ride that is light and stiff while being significantly more resistant to environmental elements than other cromoly tubesets .... $2249.99 with Torelli Aspect carbon fork (Available options at checkout: Columbus full carbon fork and handmade Torelli cromoly fork)     Add to CART

Specs: requires 70mm Italian threaded bottom bracket, 28.6 clamp-on front derailleur, 1" headset, and 27.2 seatpost

*NIOBIUM is a very special steel with manganese, chrome, nickel, molybdenum and niobium. In careful testing, Niobium is more effective than Vanadium and other alloys as a strengthening agent. Columbus' patented chemical composition improves resistance against precipitation and reduces the alloy grain size for a more resilient ride. After progressive drawing and forming NIOBIUM undergoes a special heat treatment that gives the steel its final characteristics. Niobium provides superior mechanical characteristics and higher resistance to environmental effects than conventional carbon steels.

Torelli Delirio ~

3.9 pounds (56cm frame, center-to-center)

The Delirio frameset is built with Columbus Zona* heat treated cromoly tubing joined with investment cast lugs. Zona is a high end tubeset made of Columbus' heat treated Nivacrom steel-alloy, the top-of-the-line Columbus steel until the recent introduction of Niobium as used in the Spettro. Like the Spettro, this frame is hand brazed in Italy and features the same renowned Torelli stage race/century geometry. It has been several decades since a frame of this quality has been available in the U.S. at this price! .... $1499.99 with fork (Available options at checkout: Columbus full carbon fork and handmade Torelli cromoly fork)    Add to CART

Specs: requires 70mm Italian threaded bottom bracket, 28.6 clamp-on front derailleur, 1" headset, and 27.2 seatpost

*Zona tubing: An all-purpose, high performance tubeset with heat treated Nivacrom steel through the main triangle and seamless cold drawn Cyclex steel in the four stays. Zona is specially designed with short butts then super-smoothed to remove any surface defects. The tubes are cold worked to further increase strength with no increase in weight.

Torelli MAX ~

Due to continued demand, Columbus recently re-released MAX for discriminating riders of all types. The Torelli MAX frame is now offered as a custom order for all steel aficionados. The tubeset is legendary Columbus heat treated Nivacrom, triple butted. Each MAX frame is special ordered to fit the rider to the millimeter. Your choice of 1" or 1 1/8" headtube to fit your choice of forks. Your choice of standard design with top tube parallel to the ground or "compact" with a sloping top tube. All Torelli paint and fork options are available. This frame will be one to have in your stable of sexy steel steeds. Corsa Strada ~

"I have to say it again: I love the blissfully quiet ride of the bike's heart of steel." Bicycling Magazine

The Torelli Corsa Strada is proof that a well designed frame made with care and slightly less exotic materials will ride much better than a frame with more exclusive tubing and less manufacturing care. One magazine editor noted that the Corsa Strada rode almost as well as the Cinelli Super Corsa he was reviewing at the same time. You can buy a few Corsa Stradas for the price of 1 Cinelli Super Corsa; that puts you FAR ahead!

The Corsa Strada is built in a small shop north of Padua, Italy. The tubing is Columbus Zona* double-butted cromoly. The top tube is drawn down to .5 mm, nearly as thin as tubing can go. The seat lug and Italian threaded bottom bracket shell are investment cast. Front derailleur is attached by 28.6mm clamp so you can use cranksets in all double, compact, and triple configurations. Our Corsa Stradas are shipped unpainted to the U.S. where they receive a lustrous paint finish in your choice of 12 Dupont Imron colors and finished with a rich clear coat. Frame weight is 3.8 lbs.

Frameset includes a black Torelli Aspect carbon fork with aluminum steerer tube. If you prefer, you can substitute a handmade Columbus cromoly threadless steel fork with cast Pavesi crown all painted to match or a Columbus "Minimal" full carbon fork .... $1149.99 with fork     Add to CART

Specs: requires 70mm Italian threaded bottom bracket, 28.6 clamp-on front derailleur, and 27.2 seatpost

*Zona tubing: An all-purpose, high performance tubeset with heat treated Nivacrom steel through the main triangle and seamless cold drawn Cyclex steel in the four stays.
