Bormio XC, 2007 ~
Superb handbuilt wheels for your mountain bike. Features sealed bearing disc
brake ready hubs for 6-bolt rotors. The rear hub uses 4 sealed bearings for
maximum stress distribution and durability. There are no braking surfaces for
caliper brakes. Each wheel uses 32 top quality Pillar black triple butted
stainless spokes. The alloy rims are triangular sectioned for great strength.
Color is black, weight is 2100 grams per pair. Skewers are not included.

Important term - "UST".
UST stands for Universal Tubeless Standard, Mavic's revolutionary tubeless
design. These wheels will take standard inner tubes, if you prefer. But tubeless
technology lets you run lower tire pressures with better trail grip and no pinch
flats! All of the following wheels feature UST technology except the CrossRide.

SL-UST ~
The premier cross country racing wheelset!
The
CrossMax SL is truly a revolution in bicycle wheel
technology - it's tubeless! That's right, the Maxtal SUP welded rim
has no tube-side spoke holes. Combined with new bead technology and tubeless tires from
all the top companies, the CrossMax charts new territory in offroad performance. And, the CrossMax SLs weigh
just 1685 grams per pair for discs! We've been using this setup
for several years and it has performed
without flaw. Just think - no more pinch flats!
Hubs are disc ready. Available for rotors in both International 6-bolt
pattern or Center Lock. Includes Maxtel alloy rims and Zircal aluminum alloy straight pull
spokes, 18 front radial and 20 "Isopulse" rear. Includes "clever cam" quick
release skewers.
TIP - If you tear a tire while
on a ride, use a dollar bill or a Power Bar wrapper on the inside of the tire to cover the
gash, then insert a normal 26" tube.

Mavic CrossMax SX Enduro UST ~
A beefier version of the SLs, these wheels are tough enough for
cross-mountain abuse while still staying very, very light. Weight is a mere 1805 grams!
Includes Maxtel alloy machined rims and Zircal aluminum alloy straight pull
spokes, 18 front radial and 20 "Isopulse" rear. The hubs are disc
ready for 6-bolt rotors; there is no center lock or rim brake version of these
wheels. Includes "clever cam" quick
release skewers. Color is gray.

The finest Mavic UST technology filtered down for rough terrain lovers at a
very affordable price. Rims made of 6206 aluminum.
Aluminum alloy disc hubs with steel axles and aluminum quick release skewers.
Straight pull spokes front and rear, 24 cross 2 stainless spokes front and rear.
Available for both 6-bolt and Center Lock rotors. 2015 grams per pair.

CrossRide wheels are an exceptional value in
trick offroad wheels. They are available with disc hubs in 6-bolt or Center
Lock. There is even a DUAL pair that is ready for both 6-bolt rotors and rim
brakes! 24 straight pull cross 2 stainless spokes in the front and rear, CrossRide
wheels are light yet strong. And, they are one of the most easily serviced factory
wheelsets. If you want trick but don't want to break the bank, ride on a set of these!
