New for 2007 and in stock now! Torelli Bormio wheels are individually handbuilt. The rims are gauged in a precision jig to check for concentricity and trueness before the wheel build begins. The spokes are extremely strong Pillar blades, one of the finest and most expensive spokes on the market: 20 radial front and 24 rear with cross-2 on drive side and radial on non-drive. The sealed bearing hubs have a fully serviceable cassette body that is easily interchanged between Shimano and Campagnolo dimension bodies (for an extra body see below). Rims are aero shaped aluminum alloy with machined braking surfaces. Color is black. Price is per pair - front and rear. Quick release skewers and lockring are not included from Torelli.

Bormio Cassette Body ~

With the Bormio wheels, it is easy to move your wheels from a Campagnolo drivetrain to Shimano or vice-versa. Purchase the new cassette body, unscrew the old, screw on the new body, add your new cassette. It's that easy!

Aluminum aero-shaped clincher rims with a moderately rounded cross section for added comfort. Medium flange alloy hubs with an alloy cassette body. Includes quick release skewers, spoke wrench, and rim tape.

Silky smooth rolling action and zero maintenance carbon fiber hubs with precision sealed bearings (2 front and 4 rear). DT aero spokes are straight-pull, 20 front and 24 rear. At 350 grams, one of the lightest clincher rims in the world yet no hidden nipples or strange spokes so it's easily serviced anywhere. Carries a rider weight limit of 200 pounds. Available in black or silver with cassette body for Campagnolo or Shimano cogsets. And for you triathletes, yes we have 650c too! Micro-smooth ceramic bearings and ultralight Sapim CX-Ray spokes* are available options. The upgrade prices include bearings or spokes for both wheels.
