Torelli Bormio wheels are individually handbuilt. The rims are gauged in a precision jig to check for concentricity and trueness before the wheel build begins. The spokes are extremely strong flat profile Pillar blades, one of the finest and most expensive spokes on the market: 20 radial front and 24 rear with cross-2 on drive side and radial on non-drive. The sealed bearing hubs have a fully serviceable cassette body that is easily interchanged between Shimano and Campagnolo dimension bodies (for an extra body see below). Rims are aero shaped aluminum alloy with machined braking surfaces. Color is black. Price is per pair - front and rear. Quick release skewers and lockring are not included from Torelli.

Torelli Bormio SL ~

1580 grams per pair!

Same rim and hubs as the standard Bormios but with round triple-butted stainless spokes. If you are rough and tough on your wheels then select standard Bormios. The bladed spokes are very, very strong. But if you are smooth and a little more careful and weigh 200 lbs or less then go for these lightweights. Color is black.

Torelli Bormio Ceramic ~

For a noticeable improvement in speed, move to these Bormio SL Wheels with Hybrid Ceramic bearings. These Ceramic wheels have 6 hybrid ceramic sealed bearings with grade 5 Silicon Nitride balls and ABEC 5 ground stainless steel races. Grade 5 balls are made with extraordinary precision, withhin 5 millionths of an inch from being perfectly round. For comparison sake, the steel ball bearings in Dura Ace hubs are within 25 millionths of an inch from being perfectly round. The ABEC 5 steel races are, of course, also extremely smooth. The special grease is from Klüber Lubrication, specifically designed for ceramic bearings that spin at the speeds a bicycle.

Bormio Ceramic wheels use triple-butted stainless steel spokes, just as the Bormio SL wheels. The rims weighs 430 grams. The hubs are laser etched in silver. Bormio Ceramic wheels use 20 radial spokes in the front wheel, 24 spokes in the back. The drive side is laced cross-2 and the non-drive side is radial. Color is silver.

Torelli Bormio Ceramic Ultra-lite ~

Upgrades from the Bormio Ceramic:

	Rim weight drops to 380 grams
	Rim depth goes from 27mm to 22mm
	Spokes are 0.9 X 2.2 aero ultra-lightweight

The #1 question that most people ask about a wheelset is, “How much do they weigh?”. Though a valid question, however more important is “How much do the RIMS weigh?”. The further away something is from its rotational axis the more it will “weigh” at speed. That’s why Torelli uses ultralight (380gram) rims to make a versatile climbing wheelset that will climb with the best of them and give you great braking performance for the descents.

Torelli caps this package lighter and more aero spokes to help reduce wind drag and rotating weight even further. Don’t be fooled by total wheelset weights. Hubs and spokes make a minute difference to the weight that can be saved from the outside of your wheels. Front wheel: 20 spokes radial, rear wheel: 24 spokes, with the drive side cross 2 and non-drive radial. Color is black.

Torelli Bormio Cassette Body ~

All Bormio wheelsets come with your choice of Shimano or Campagnolo cassette body to work with your particular drivetrain: 8, 9, or 10 speed Shimano or 9, 10, or 11 speed Campagnolo. The Shimano body also fits all Sram 9 and 10 speed cassettes. With any of the Bormio wheels it is easy to move your wheels from a Campagnolo drivetrain to Shimano/Sram or vice-versa. Purchase the an additional cassette body, unscrew the old, screw on the new body, add your new cassette. It's that easy!

Topolino CX 2.0 ~

Weighing in at a mere 1360 grams per pair, the ultra durable, smooth-riding and very responsive CX 2.0 is an excellent choice for long distance, smooth riding. A feather weight 19mm heat treated aluminum clincher rim with machined sidewalls is combined with Topolino's unique carbon-Kevlar continuous length spokes and a long fiber carbon composite hub with sealed ABEC-5 cartridge and roller bearings. Cassette body is hard anodized 7075 T6 aluminum with roller bearings and a cromoly 3-ratchet pawl system. 24 front spokes with 30 rear (18 drive & 12 non drive). Available with cassette body for either Campagnolo or Shimano drivetrains.
