Caution: This past few years we have seen a proliferation of illegit' Zipp wheels sold in the U.S. to unsuspecting customers. As these wheels were coded with Zipp's mark as "not fit for resale" they were unserviceable and not covered under warranty. Be assured ALL of our Zipp wheels are 100% direct from Zipp U.S.A. and certified "A" quality, completely covered by Zipp's warranty. Do not be fooled by imposters! ---------------- Tour de France ~Team CSC uses ZIPP carbon wheels throughout the Tourss de France on every stage under every condition of terrain and weather from the flat sprinters stages to the highest mountains and the time trials. With a mix of 303, 404, 808, 909's and the Zeds, the team had the ability to choose the type of wheel best suited to the day and the individual needs to each rider. Zipp Exclusives ~VcLc - (visco-elastic constrained layer control), and exclusive to Zipp VcLc technology reduces road vibration and muscle fatigue up to 10% so you can ride faster and longer. M2CM - Unlike other makes, Zipp aluminum rims are not merely bonded to their carbon bases. Zipp rims go through an exclusive co-molding process that actually joins the aluminum and carbon into a single unified composite. M2CM produces remarkable wheels that are verifiably more durable than ever.

1080 Deep-V ~ Size does matter!
108mm of patented toroidal rim and ABLC dimple technology that tames the wind with a shape no other ultra-deep rim maker can touch. It's a full 29 seconds faster than a trispoke over 40K! 80 grams lighter too, it's the perfect option for rolling-hill course.
| Front tubular = 744 grams | |
| Rear tubular = 894 grams! | |
| Clincher weights = TBD |
Available in clincher or tubular, but we strongly recommend the tubular due its lighter weight on the outside edge along with much faster tire changes in case of a flat.
Searching for the ultimate in speed while maintaining extra security on the front end in cross winds? Then, the 1080 rear with an 808 front is the perfect combination. Available in clincher or tubular, 700c only. Big, strong, secure bike handlers will well with the 1080s above, the rest of us are probably best suited with this 1080/808 blend. Available in clincher or tubular, 700c only.

The fully toroidal rim shape beats the '08 version by 9 seconds over 40K!
If you are serious about your racing, you must check out the Zipp 404 wheelsets. Not only are these very light overall, they are especially light in the outer rim section where weight matters most. And, they are among the most aerodynamic wheelsets ever tested. We've had 404 wheels out on the race circuit for over 10 years and they've proven themselves tough and dependable. For road racing, criteriums, and triathlons, definitely consider these beautiful wheels. Available with Campagnolo (9/10/11 speed) or Shimano (8/9/10 speed) compatible cassette bodies in clincher or tubular versions, 700c or 650c (26").
| Weight of clincher pair, 650c = 1393 grams! | |

404 MAX, 2010 ~ The fully toroidal rim shape beats the '08 version by 9 seconds over 40K!
"Big people break wheels, but not Zipp wheels!" Guy East, founder of the international racing team, Team Clydesdale.
Because of their size and power, larger athletes have special equipment needs. World Champions weighing close to 300 pounds have ridden with confidence on Zipp wheels and so can you. Best of all, there is virtually no weight penalty! In clincher version, the 404 MAX wheels weight a mere 47 grams more than a standard 404! Spoke counts: 700c = 28 rear and 24 front in both tubular and clincher versions. 650c = 24 rear and 24 front in both tubular and clincher versions.
Zipp 303
Mid-V, 2010 ~ The Zipp 303 clincher was named "best wheel" among 62 wheels tested by the French magazine Le Cycle !
Introduced in April 2009, this newest edition of the famed 303s is significantly wider and slightly deeper than its predecessor yet still very light. Of course, light weight is nothing without strength, but these rims are more than double the lateral and vertical stiffness of a traditional rim weighing up to 50% more! Vertically compliant VcLc element ensures a comfortable ride over rough roads. The 303 clinchers feature 45mm deep carbon rims with aluminum tire grips, 20 stainless radial spokes in the front and 24 X2/radial in the rear. All nipples are anodized alloy.
The 303 tubular provides lightning-fast acceleration with the lightest production mid-V rim ever made. It features a new Silica-Ceramic braking surface for superior dry and wet weather performance. The 38mm deep rims are all carbon fiber ICT construction. ICT is the world's first and only continuous banding of unbroken radial fibers for the strongest and lightest carbon technology ever.
| Weight of tubular pair, 700c = 1171 grams! | |
| Weight of clincher pair, 700c = 1623 grams! |
Spoke counts: 20ft and 28 rear in 700c and 16ft, 20 rear for 650c.
Double the strength!
Zipp took their standard rims and beefed them up to withstand the rigors of cross racing. They added more material to the impact areas while only adding about 40 grams to the overall rim weight! But, this little extra weight actually doubles the strength of the rim! Additionally, Zipp modified the hubset to remain running smooth through the nastiest, muddiest events and tied it all together with Sapim Race butted spokes. Available in tubular (glue-on) version only but in two depths: the 38mm 303 and the 58mm 404.

101 ~Brand new for 2010. The 101’s centerpiece is the first fully toroidal aluminum rim, developed in the wind tunnel with a proprietary profile curve extending across the braking surfaces. With this patented design, the 30mm-deep 101 can exceed the aerodynamic performance of V-shaped rims with much deeper aero profiles. And no shallow-profile design comes close to the 101 in the wind tunnel or on the road, where the 101 can save up to 42 seconds over 40km compared to the industry's benchmark aluminum wheelset.
The 101 is built by hand in Speedway, Indiana, with the same components as Zipp's top-of-the-line carbon wheelsets. The 101 is laced with 18 front and 20 rear Sapim CX-Ray spokes and Zipp’s 88 and 188 hubs with Swiss steel bearings. The hubs are manufactured in Indiana using the proprietary Z310.9 alloy, and feature oversize 17mm axles and adjustable bearing preload. Weight is 1523 grams per wheelset. Available in 700c clincher only, color is black. $1299.99 per pair.

Super-9 Disc ~ New for 2010, the Super-9 is an extra stiff version of the revolutionary Sub-9. It's 15% stiffer than a Sub-9 and a whopping 40% stiffer than the 900 disc. The tire bed is a couple millimeters wider than a Sub-9 so it nicely fits 21-23mm tires. Like the Sub-9, the Super-9 actually generates forward lift as it rotates. Weight is a mere 995 grams! Accepts 700c tubular (glue-on) tires only. Select Campagnolo or Shimano cassette body to match your drivetrain. $2049.99
Zipp
Sub-9 Disc ~ Just 1000 grams!
Using the most difficult wind tunnel testing protocol, the Sub-9 disc shattered every drag record in cycling with a negative-80 gram drag reading at 15o. Instead of creating drag, this wheel actually generates lift relative to the wind direction, just like an America's Cup boat tacking into the wind! The result is blistering speed without sacrificing stiffness or durability. Even better, you actually get more comfort and road control because the wind-teaming toroidal bulge also functions like a leaf spring to soak up bumps and other road imperfections. The Sub-9 disc improves impact resistance by 25% over the already legendary Zipp 900 disc. Available in 700c road tubular only. Select Campagnolo or Shimano cassette body to match your drivetrain.
Zipp 900
and 840 Disc ~ Zipp discs are a marvel of technology. Manufactured completely flat and only 19mm in total cross
section for the smallest
frontal section out there. The carbon skins are cured
over a honeycomb core to guarantee maximum airflow over the disc surface and
greatly cut air turbulence around the vital drivetrain area.
The brand new and patented ABLC technology, with 4900 dimples per disc, reduces
drag to the lowest level ever.
| Weight of 900 rear tubular disc, 700c = 950 grams! (picture on left) | |
| Weight of 900 rear clincher disc, 700c = 1222 grams! (picture on right) | |
| Weight of 840 rear tubular disc, 650c = 890 grams! |
The Zipp 900 disc is available in tubular (glue-on) or clincher versions.
The 650c version, called an 840, is available in tubular only.
